"No database name / dsn found anywhere".
I tried to sign-up to join a search engine site (www.wink.com), and after entering my data and hitting enter; I received the message, "No database name / dsn found anywhere". I pasted this message into Microsoft Help and Support, and it mentioned information on how to, "Install an, 'ODBC Database', which seemed pretty complex (though do-able). As an intermediate user, I wanted to run this by someone to see if this all sounded legitimate; before undertaking this task. As this has never happened on any other website. If anyone is familiar with this terminology specifically, would appreciate any advice. (Specs: Happened on both my laptop and my PC. (same website, only). Both: Windows 7, cable modem, laptop 64-bit/PC 32-bit, laptop 3GB RAM stored/PC 2 GB, hard drive space about same: 220 GB, 35% used. Laptop, Dell Inspiron 1440, PC- Dell Inspiron 531s). Thanks. Best to contact Wink technical support as this seems to relate to their website and database engine (my best guess is that the issue lies with IE8 compatibility); it doesn't appear to be related to Windows 7 networking at all. You might also want to try a different browser like Firefox or Chrome first.
